15-time Grammy award-winning artist and worldwide-celebrated music icon, Alicia Keys has just released her new single, along with a music video, ‘Best Of Me’. This is ahead of her newest album ‘KEYS’ which is out December 10th. The album will feature two sides: “Originals” with laidback piano vibes and “Unlocked” with upbeat, drums, and level up vibes.
“The Originals come from that classic side of me! It’s that AK that we WANT!! A homecoming,” Alicia wrote on social media. “The Unlocked side, I wanted to sample The Originals to create a whole other sonic experience. So, Mike WiLL Made-It and I connected and made magic. Together, they are a fusion of the worlds within me with the KEYS as the main ingredient.”
The official music video for ‘Best Of Me’, sees Alicia and her husband Swiss Beatz, singing along, celebrating her loving marriage whilst being dressed in a gorgeous white gown. The music video having a white theme gives the idea of purity, positivity and happiness as well as making it feel angelic.
Throughout the video, there’s clips from various home videos featuring their whole family. She spends time cuddling, dancing, and posing with her husband, Swiss. The video was filmed on their 11th Anniversary which makes it more romantic for the pair and also for the viewers. Keys said herself that the single “continues to give me chills”. This I would agree with myself. Alicia never fails to amaze us with her harmonising and sweet sounding voice. She has this talent that is indescribable and her songs just get more remarkable each time.
Alicia will embark on a rescheduled world tour in 2022 that will head to UK arena’s in the summer.
