As a music fan, I am also looking to take myself of my comfort zone to see what I can find. In doing so I was able to come across the latest track Thunder Loader by US based Bossfight. Ok at first when you listen when you are in unfamiliar territory it is easy to be on the fence about how you feel about something you are listening to, especially if it is the first time.
With Thunder Loader however, you know what I actually quite enjoyed listening to it, which is made even more excitable and infectious by the brilliant energy that Bossfight and I$$A bring as part of their cross collaboration on this track.
What I quite like as well is that there is a fusion of different influences from Afro-pop, R&B and hip-hop incorporated with Bossfight’s own Senegal heritage to bring it all together. This all combined elevates the song even more where it is filled with character and makes you want to listen to it more and more, and hell get up and dance along to it at the same time. When you discover music that makes you want to get up and move, connect and listen to over and over again, that is when you know you have found yourself a keeper, and listening to Thunder Loader is certainly one of those moments for me.
Has this new track by Bossfight made me curious about other tracks this talented artist has to offer, it sure has, and I tell you what I cannot wait to see what other incredible things Bossfight introduces me to in the weeks and months to come.
