Brandin Jay - This Year

When I listened to the lyrics I really loved Brandin’s honesty, and the way he uses it as an opportunity to reflect and recognise the things which matter with the aim of moving in a better direction - but stronger. ‘This year I am going to love me’ for example is just one of the many great lines in this song, which might sound like an average sentence but it is always the most empowering statement you could even hear. 

Usually I don’t really tend to listen to a lot of R&B, but Brandin Jay has given me a song that I just want to put on repeat non stop, while I connect to the song in such a deep and meaningful way each way.
