David Hobbes - Measure of Degree

With his debut album due for release in a month’s time, singer-songwriter David Hobbes is getting music fans in the mood with his latest single Measure of Degree which was released on the 28th September 2023.

If your new to his music, this song is the perfect introduction as it delivers on all fronts from the catchy beat, David’s inviting voice and his relatable fun lyrics. And based on first impressions it ticks all the boxes of everything I look for when discovering something for the very first time.

The true test of any song is that moment where even after the music has stopped it has left an imprint in your mind where you find yourself thinking about it more and more, subconsciously humming along without even realising it. Measure of Degree very much has that exact effect on you, because once the song has finished, ya’ll will want to be wanting to run back in order to relive the experience all over again.

It is also filling me with such optimism and excitement as the 17th November 2023 fast approaches where we will also be able to listen to the debut album Searching For A Home in its entirety. For now though I will enjoy listening to Measure of Degree and sharing its good news with my nearest and dearest as well as anyone else you loves good hearty honest music.
