Ephemerist - Heavensent

US based Ephemerist brings us Heavensent which sees the beautiful marriage between alternative pop and gives it an post-hardcore edge. As some who loves a variety of genres, this track is like a dream come true, especially on those random occasions I feel like applying some high octane energy to my day.

There is a nice mix and balance between clean and unclean vocals, almost like the stars aligning and the ying and yang fitting each other nicely like a glove. As much as I love the cleaner vocals, I am all for the screamo metal side of things too, as it reminds me of the likes of some of my favourite bands such as I Killed A Prom Queen, We Came As Romans and Asking Alexandria. All ready I can see this song sparking some serious moshing and a circle pit if ever I am lucky to see this song performed live. Heavensent is the type of song which will quench your hunger whilst also keep you on your toes.

After hearing this song, I will be making sure I keep more of a close eye on Ephemerist because based on this track, his talent is going to be so explosive especially as we move closer and closer to the new year.
