Goofy Cow - Timeline

Do not let the name deceive you, because I tell you what Timeline by Czech Republic duo Goofy Cow has the makings of being one of your favorite tracks of 2022. Bringing together a fusion of influences such as rock, pop punk, electronic music and rap, Timeline is a song which will want you craving more.

If you look at the lyrics themselves for example, you have a mixture of honesty combined with vulnerability and strength, which allows you as a listener to really feel engaged with the narrative behind the song, at least that is how I felt listening anyway.

Breaking down the song even further, given that Goofy Cow sees members Jakub Pavlík and Venca Alan Čikl join forces, you can clearly tell when listening to Timeline especially that the two really do bring out the best in each other to create a song which I imagine by the end will have music fans singing at the top of their lungs as they feel and connect to Timeline on every level.

In recent years it has felt like the pop-punk and rock scene seems to been on this never ending circle where you listen to the same 5 days on repeat, with very little room to deviate from that which you already know. However Goofy Cow, if you trust them to take you out of your comfort zone could be that refreshing choice to breathe life in to your music choices, as they introduce you to tracks like Timeline which will have you wishing you had discovered them sooner.

Having listened to the song countless times already, I have no doubt that Goofy Cow before you know will be one of those awesome duos that everyone is talking about, so don’t be consumed by FOMO and start listening to Timeline today!
