Singer songwriter Grace Gardner from the US  brings us her brand new song Lubbock. This is such a powerful song written with pure emotion, depth and honesty. Lyrics  such as ‘I take the bruises under my skin’ are just an example of how Grace channels raw vulnerability in such a poetic way, and is a prime example of an artist not afraid to have the strength and confidence to just be very open. As a listener, that boldness gives music fans like me that even when we put on a brave a face to the world we are still allowed to feel. 

As for the other elements of the song, Grace’s voice really elevates the song and adds a extra of beauty, especially when combined with vibrant energy and luscious melodies and rhythm. I can see big things on the horizon for Grace Gardner and you only have to listen to Lubbock to realise why.
