Gumbo - Winter Blues

If like me you are not a fan of this time of the year, then US based band Gumbo have your back with their track Winter Blues, which is taken from their latest EP. Lyrically this is a track which doesn’t mince its words and takes a very realistic view of life. Sure the festive and new year period brings that fuzzy feeling of joy and what not, the classic good will to all men, but that does not mean  the stresses of life disappear - there are still bills to pay, worries of how to put food on the table and everything else. 

Gumbo really take the bull by the horns and give us a platform through this song where we can really get all of those issues off our chest. I feel that Winter Blues is not meant to be a song which adds to our anxiety in a negative way, but instead through open and transparent honesty helps us to just be very real about life.
