Little Destroyer - hitman

It has been quite sometime since I have heard a good bit of music which is both outspoken and fierce, so when I heard about Vacouver based Little Destroyer and their brand new single, hitman, I could not wait to check it out.

Touching on the topic of sexual harassment, Little Destroyer have infused this song with plenty of honesty where they are not trying to sugarcoat things, but just speaking their mind which is almost unapologetic but articulated with such confidence. Doing so adds to the charm of listening to hitman, where by the end you are cheering along.

For some people even mentioning ideas about sexual harassment might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you know what you have nothing to fear about this song, because through hitman, Little Destroyer are creating that safe space where important issues such as these can be spoken about openly. Personally as a listener this makes me applaud and respect Little Destroyer even more.

In regards of other things that I love about this new track, and that is quite simply three things - Allie, Michael and Chris - yes the band themselves. You have Allie drawing us in with her vocals, and all the skills that Michael and Chris bring to the party, make me want to celebrate their music even more, especially when they are giving us music like this which packs a punch!

With hitman being available now, I can guarantee that Little Destroyer will see themselves being one of your favorite band in next to no time. Thank you for the music Little Destroyer, I cannot wait to discover more!
