It is true what they say, music really is an international language that crosses territories and brings countless people from different nations of the world so much joy.
As much as I love listening to UK artists, ever since I was a child I have always been fascinated by the music of other cultures. When I was recently introduced therefore to Lucas Lenny & Elhadji Sora and their latest track Kassi Sia I was bowled over at just beautiful it is as a song, but a piece of art which expresses and celebrates some of the special elements of African culture.

Yes I do love listening to everything from pop music, to indie, to rock and so forth, but there is something about world music and the likes of Lucas Lenny & Elhadji Sora with tracks such as Kassi Sia which add an extra layer of calmness to your day, where you just get lost in the music, as you allow it to take you on a journey of inner peace.
