Maejis Mind - There Was A Time

If you have been keeping your ear to the ground you may have come across Maejis Mind, the project of Philadelphia based musician James Beasley. Having released Loner’s Jam at the start of 2022, to the joy of his fans he announced he was returning with some brand new music for April 2022. One of those tracks included There Was A Time.

If you have never had to listen to any of previous Maejis Mind material before, let me forewarn you now, There Was A Time is the type of song which will draw you in and seduce you especially when you find yourself at the centre of it’s psychedelic vibe.

This is a song which will grab your attention both lyrically and sonically. You may not be able to get up and dance, but you it is still one you can expect to give you a bit of shoulder bopping as you allow the the rhythm of the song to be the compass that guides you.

When I listen to There Was A Time, it makes me fascinated about James himself too, because having been around since September 2021, he is certainly creating waves with his music and certainly someone we all need to be paying more close attention to, because I tell you what Maejis Mind will be a name you do not want to pass you by.

I cannot wait to see what James accomplishes next with this personal project, so buckle up and make sure to take the time to immerse yourself in the music of Maejis Mind, because it is going to be a fun ride for sure.
