Maijah - The Star

It is fair to say that over the past couple of years US singer-songwritier Maijah has been absolutely killing it and been going from strength to strength, having released tracks like Love Goddess and Cinnamon. Well fans are rejoicing today as today she officially releases her brand new single The Star.

The track is full of depth and is written with such poetic finesse which just takes us as listeners on a journey. As someone who loves my lyrics, Maijah delights us with so many great lines, such as ‘sprinkle star dust on my heart, you don’t have to tell me what you are’ and ‘looking in the mirror is like star gazing’.

Like honestly you feel a great sense of peace and comfort from listening to Maijah, because detox all those negative feelings and replace them with something a lot more healthy and empowering. 

I think Maijah has so much powerful potential, and The Star is a prime example of her continued growth.
