Following a five year break, Maudlin Strangers finally broke their silence and finally released their brand new single I’m Not In The Right Mind.

This might sound like a bold statement to make but the band remind me of a modern version of MUSE with a blend of Pendulum too in certain parts soo.

As for the rest of the song itself - both lyrically and vocally everything is so perfectly constructed and is clear to see that this is a song where a lot of careful thought has gone into this song which you can really tell.

I’m Not In The Right Mind for me represents a band who having taken time in hiatus for 5 years, have returned with a brand new spark so who knows what will Maudlin Strangers will have in store for next.
