NM - Lift Me Up

I could not help feeling amazed when I first listened to the brand new single Lift Me Up by US based artist NM. They say first impressions are so important, and well witnessing this song really did put a smile on my face.

One of the first things you will notice is how the female vocals coupled together with NM’s just work so work perfectly together, especially each being different styles and helping that transition when the listener is able to appreciate the skills and finesse that NM possesses as a rapper.

Lyrically I also like how honest NM is when it comes to expressing himself, which makes things come across so genuinely especially when it comes to a general outlook on life. There are people we come across in life that we don’t know how long they will remain for but we want to make the most of the opportunity and embrace the moment regardless.

Lift Me Up is the perfect song for taking you to that place, with NM reminding us of that well known wisdom of seizing the day - the true art of carpe diem.

I have lost count of how many times I have heard Lift Me Up on repeat, but one thing for sure is NM has gained my instant respect and appreciation, and I for one cannot wait to discover more from this emerging and rising star.
