Following the success of her debut single More Than We Were' back in December 2021, Miami based singer songwriter Oriana Nash returns with her brand new single Trippin' On Daydreams which dropped on 22nd April 2022.
Having taken the opportunity to listen myself i will say from the outset that this song has left me infatuated and even enchanted by Oriana Nash. as she gives us a song which is filled with so much passion, emotion and beauty. Listening to Trippin' On Daydreams is actually giving me butterflies because just how it is so heartfelt and comes from a place of love. Although I do listen to countless songs day in day only a few only manage to take my breath away, and I can proudly say Oriana is one of those special few.
As you take in Trippin' On Daydreams, as a listener you can feel the energy building that towards the end when the big sounds come into play especially during those powerful choruses before you know it you too are singing along to lyrics. Lines such as ‘...rose petals fall, rose petals fall, rose petals fall into your face when you sleep next to me, oh you sleep so peacefully, trippin on daydreams to the moon and all the space in-between, that's how you mean to me’ are just so poetic and are elevated and amplified further by passion and emotion in Oriana’s stunning voice.
It’s crazy to think that Trippin' On Daydreams is only Oriana’s second ever single, because I feel like she is one of those kindred spirits who I feel I have known forever. Based on what I have heard from this talented artist she is not just a new comer to the world of music, but she is also well on her way to becoming one of the most phenomenal female artists of 2022 and beyond.
Being able to be a part of an artists journey, especially this early on is so rewarding and an opportunity that doesn't come around around very often, listening to tracks such as Trippin' On Daydreams will one day looking back thinking how glad you were to be part of Oriana Nash’s growth and see history in the making.
