ROYAL - Woman of The World

Darkus

The thing I find about hip hop, especially here in the UK is that unless you are familiar with the underground scene or from a certain area you tend to miss out on great music, because you don’t realise what great music is around us because as a society the attention tends to go on the artists who are part of the mainstream.

However times are changing, so If you are looking for some fresh new music in your life, which will leave you also discovering your new favourite artist, then one of our recommendations would have to be London based alternative hip hop & R & B Artist ROYAL.

Having released his brand new single Woman of the World which came out on 29th April 2022, this is the type of song which you will find warms your heart within a matter of seconds, as it such an inviting and mesmerising track. From initial impressions ROYAL strikes me as someone who is already on a journey to be one of the most talented songwriters and lyricists of this time, as he provides such a level of depth that make his music both honest and uplifting.

If you really focus on the heart and the narrative of Woman of The World, what makes it even more powerful as a song is how it empowers and lifts up women, but from a male perspective, where ROYAL is giving us on a journey of what it means to truly means to respect a woman. As a result, for me personally this makes ROYAL’s music even more refreshing to listen to.

I feel as well that Woman of the World is something we can all gain a lot of inspiration from, regardless of whether hip hop is out genre or not, because I feel ROYAL as an artist speaks a lot of truth, which each and every person from all walks of life can relate to.

With Woman of the World being ROYAL’s first track of 2022, I sure hope we get to see even more of him in the weeks and months to come, because I tell you what he has already created some serious fire. Yea when we think of hip-hop artists we might think of names such as Loyle Carner, AJ Tracy or even Stormzy, and not saying those artists are bad because they aint, but as far as the next generation is concerned, ROYAL is definitely a rising star not to be missed.
