Thank you Sam Fischer for your outstanding show

Darkus

Sam Fischer's headline show in London to end his "The Simple Tour" was definitely the show we have all been waiting for. The "This City" singer entertained a sold out "The Garage" in North London with his famous hits like his collaboration with Demi Lovato "What Other People Say", accompanied by his wife's voice Erin Caff, who sings his background vocals, the emotional "For Now" and his latest single "Simple" to end the show with "The City", the song that changed his entire career.

While ‘This City’ is Fischer’s first big hit behind the mic, he’s written tracks for lots of big names in the industry, including Ciara, Keith Urban and Jessie J. Last year, he also supported Lewis Capaldi on his US tour.

"You guys will have to wait until the end for This City" he told the crowd." It is a very emotional atmosphere, London is a special place for Sam Fischer "London's like a second home for me" he explains "we've gone through a hard two years of our life, thank you for coming out to see me."

About "This City" which came out 3 years ago and counts more than 388 million streams on Spotify alone, he said “When I put it out in 2018, I was afraid that no one would care, so it’s validating to know that people want to hear more,” he explains. “I feel like I’ve really found myself, and I’m in a completely different mental space. The song came from quite a heartbroken place, and now it’s become more of a song of hope and not giving up, even when it gets bad.”

To surprise his fans, Sam performed "Hopeless Romantic", an unreleased song which is out Friday - and let me add, we cannot wait to have it!

The incredible performance was definitely a show to look forward to for 2021 and we can't wait to see him succeed and play more shows in the UK.
