Taken directly from the opening to Hold On, one of the most recent songs to be released by US based musician Matt Gibson. Operating under the name, San Salinas. It has been quite a number of months since we last featured Matt’s music, and like the song says it sure is nice to see that he is back, and even better a friendly face who brings gifts in the shape of new music.

Hold On is such an uplifting and magnificent song, which is so addictively catchy and will have you singing along. Just like another other San Salinas track, this song is so refreshingly energising but from an indie rock perspective. A first time listening will also have no challenges with throwing themselves into this song, because you will soon be feeding on its vibe within seconds, especially once the chorus kicks in.

While this song may have been released back in October, it is still enjoyable now as it was 2 months ago when I first heard it. Turn up the volume, pre-select that loop/repeat button or get those headphones at the ready, because this song will be that one song you cannot get enough of.
