San Salinas - Red Dress Blues

I have no shame in declaring this, but since first discovering San Salinas, a.k.a Matt Gibson earlier this year, I cannot help get enough of the brilliant music that keeps coming out. Recently our talented maestro of music released the latest track, Red Dress Blues, a nice hearty bit of music, which you easily find yourself singing along to.

There is a whole lot of foot tapping, head bopping and shoulder shuffles going on at this end, and whether its a bright sunny Sunday afternoon or a late night cap with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand, Red Dress Blues can enjoyed any type of day . If anything, after a busy day, that friendly voice of San Salinas will be that friendly voice after a long day to help put you at ease.

I will let you in to a secret, when I first heard about San Salinas it was initially through his cover of the Nirvana classic - Something In The Way, which only happened because I also happened to have watched the latest Batman film that very same week. Maybe it was fate, or maybe it was coincidence, either way I am so thankful I gave it a listen because now I can hand on heart confess that San Salinas is saved as a favourite on my go-to music app.

For me, Red Dress Blues, is just another brilliant step forward for Matt Gibson, as via San Salinas, he continues to show his exceptional growth as an artist, combined with his brilliant personality and humour which will bring a smile to anyone's face.
