San Salinas - Something In The Way (Nirvana Cover)

Ever since I went to watch the latest Batman film the other week, I have fallen head over heels for the Nirvana track, Something In The Way. So when I discovered that artist San Salinas had done his own rendition immediately my attention was grabbed.

I admittedly am not the greatest fan of covers, probably due to how many unpleasant and grueling experiences I have had to endure, however San Salinas is anything but unpleasant. The artist doesn't just honour Kurt Cobain and his band (as afterall Nirvana can be quite a bold band to tackle) but San Salinas also infuses his own strengths as a musician, and makes the song his own. The vocals have that dark vibe to them, but is executed in a way that the more you listen, the more you want to press that replay button.

I don’t know an lot about San Salinas, but I tell you what I rather living in the mystery of not knowing everything, because this is one of those golden moments where the high quality of the music speaks volumes.

I cannot wait to see what this talented guy treats us all to next. Available to listen to now on all major platforms San Salinas’ version of Something In The Way will leave you hungry for more, so what are you waiting for, an Salinas is the man for you!
