Sarpa Salpa - Dreaming

It always feels like a breath of fresh air when I find out an emerging UK band, especially when I have heard good things from friends who have checked them out previously. My day feels a little more brighter thanks to being able to check out Sarpa Salpa and their brand new track Dreaming which came out on 6th May 2022.

Upon first impressions, I am totally loving the energy and a vibe of Dreaming as not only is it very addictive, but it I love the depth within the lyrics, because as you continue to listen and embrace everything the track has to offer, you also feel yourself connecting and resonating with it at the same time. It is sometimes the case when listening to a new bit of music or a new band for the first time you either like their lyrics or you love their passion and energy, especially when it is anything indie-rock related, but Sarpa Salpa are the type of band who give you both.

Doing a bit of digging around you will see that Sarpa Salpa have received a lot of kudos from music fans not just from Northampton where they are based but also grabbed the attention of the likes of BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, and listening to Dreaming it is easy to see why.

After a challenging couple of years i feel slowly but surely the music scene here in the UK is beginning to thrive again, and the true heroes in my eyes are not your huge names who are already at the top of their game, but bands like Sarpa Salpa who are coming in like a bolt of lightning with mind grabbing tunes such as Dreaming and creating a new layer of excitement especially at a time when we all need it the most.

I honestly cannot wait to discover more about this awesome band, because in my eyes soon they will be one of those household names that everyone is talking out, so make sure you don’t miss out, Dreaming is just a click away, enjoy!
