The Stemmas - Walkin Around

For this recommendation we take a trip over to LA the home of 7 member indie collective The Stemmas who on 29th September 2023 released their brand new single Walkin Around. Fresh off the press, and striking the iron while its fresh and hot, this song has so much to give any music fan.

It's punchy, it's fun and it has a touch of that unapologetic attitude too which I like. This is my first time hearing The Stemmas, but I am liking what I hear and for any new listener Walkin Around will without a doubt grab your attention one way or another. 7 members in a band, your might be thinking how that all works, and you know what I can tell that there is an excellent synergy between everyone where they all compliment each other and create a strong body of music in the process.

For instance I love the mix of male and female vocals that really work well together, then you have the rhythm of the guitars and those riffs which bring a lease of life into the song. Lyrically Walkin Around is very catchy and I would very much doubt anyone could resist the urge to sing along, because by the end you will be pressing that re-play button in your immerse yourself into the song all over again.

Has Walkin Around made me want to seek out more of The Stemmas? Absolutely! It has made me more curious if anything about what else they could offer, and I think this single is a great starting point as any. The song is out now on all major platforms, so I would encourage you to make sure you give it a spin or few, you won’t regret it.
