The Upsides - Undercover Retro

I think I may have very well discovered one of my new favourite bands of 2022, and it is all thanks to New York based rock band and their brand new single Undercover Retro which was released on the 6th May 2022. The very moment I pressed that play button, I could really feel the music and the energy as I found myself swaying along as I listened attentively to the lyrics.

Undercover Retro is such a cool song and discovering The Upsides for the very first time feels like such a breath of fresh air, because as far as this song is concerned I find it quite refreshing to listen to, be that early in the morning, mid afternoon, on my way into the city or even late at night as I am chilling before I go to bed. My point, when it is the type of music which you could listen to any time of the day, then it makes you drawn to bands such as The Upsides even more.

Lyrically, Undercover Retro as a newbie fan, is very easy to follow, and still has that element of depth as The Upsides give us a flavour of what we can expect the more we invest ourselves in their music. I wish I had discovered this band sooner, but I cannot wait to familiarise myself with them even more in the weeks and months to follow.

I have no doubt that this will be a very promising year for The Upsides and I for one will be telling all my friends just why they too need a bit of Undercover Retro in their life!
