Venus Grrrls - Hex

After a number of months on hiatus, we were glad to hear that Venus Grrrls were back on radar in 2023. Having undergone a few changes here and there which included Eliza Lee joining as lead guitarist, the band were ready to finally release some brand new music, which includes their latest single Hex.

Full of energy, Hex really grabs your attention as you can really sense the band giving it their all as lead vocalist Grace Kelly wastes no time in giving us a sterling performance which makes you feel like your not just listening to the song but also imagining seeing the talented ladies playing live in front you.

The lyrics are so easy to follow, which is worthy of bonus points because you are able to sing along and let loose as you sing along to the chorus especially the lines ‘i’m going to let him feel his sins’, which is probably one of the best things I have heard in a song.

The song is just the start, because if you want to go that extra mile further then be sure to check out the official music video to this track because it adds an flair of darkness to the feel of Hex.

It is good to see that despite the short interlude, Venus Grrrls confidence remains strong, with Hex marking the start of a very exciting new chapter.
